How to feel more empowered at work and at home

If I could express one thing to help women feel empowered in their work and family lives and feel happier and healthier, it is to take time for yourselves! You deserve it and you are important. I’m sure many of you are multi-taskers balancing multiple things at once and you may think you don’t have time for yourself. But you must create that time! Tell your loved ones that you need 30 minutes in the morning to get ready without interruptions. Or maybe you set a “bedtime” at night and after that time you don’t answer your phone (or dare I say, don’t even look at your phone). Whatever it may be, set that time on your calendar and stay committed to it. You will feel much more empowered when you learn to say “no.” And of course, as we all know, we need to put our own oxygen mask on first before helping others. Same rule applies here. So take care of yourself first.
